Four years after the establishment of the Qianhai & Shekou Pilot Free Trade Zone, in the morning of April 24, 2019, a ceremony was held at Qianhai Vanke Enterprise Mansion, marking the launch of the Legal Map of “Belt and Road”, the first large-scale Chinese legal database in China which serves the “Belt and Road” initiative. organized by the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen and under the guidance of the Justice Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, the map was co-implemented by BCI & BIMC（formerly known as BCI , it serves as the Base of Supreme People’s Court of China for Discerning Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Foreign Law) and the Law Press China.
On the same day afternoon, as the representative of an innovative platform in the establishment of a business environment based on the rule of law in the Qianhai & Shekou Pilot Free Trade Zone in Guangdong, Ms. Li Zhuoying, BCI & BIMC’s president of council, was interviewed by more than 20 mainstream media, such as CCTV, People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, Newsgd.com. Throughout the interview, Ms. Li at the ceremony demonstrated how the platform operates in different applied scenarios, introduced the results of the implementation in a systematic way, and answered questions from reporters.
